Homeward is a collaborative, for-charity fanzine. The zine delves into the romantic relationship between Naruto's Uchiha Sasuke and Haruno Sakura, also known as SasuSaku, during the Blank Period years which took place between Naruto chapters 699 and 700.The zine is divided into three sections, namely:

1. Under the Same Sky - which explores Sasuke and Sakura's time apart during Sasuke's journey of redemption
2. Off to See the World - which covers Sasuke and Sakura's travels together
3. Connected Feelings - which depicts their life back at home as a family with their daughter Sarada.

The design approach incorporates elements of travel, journaling, and mailing. It reflects the theme of journeying and exchanging letters while utilizing Sasuke and Sakura's character colors as the main color palette.
